flagship: tradução - carro-chefe.

Although "flagship" is often translated as "carro-chefe", I was thinking today that if it is really a ship and we are not talking about marketing it should be translated as "nau-capitânia." This may be obvious but some people may confuse the contexts in which each of the translations would be appropriate. Just a reminder. Context matters, so if we are talking about marketing, "carro-chefe". If the text is about naval equipment, use "nau-capitânia"...

Embora "flagship" costume ser traduzido como "carro-chefe", eu estava pensando hoje que se for mesmo um navio e não se estiver falando em marketing a palavra deve ser traduzida como "nau-capitânia." Isso pode parecer óbvio mas algumas pessoas podem confundir os contextos nos quais cada uma dessas traduções é mais apropriada. Só um lembrete... O contexto importa, então se for marketing, use carro-chefe. Se for náutico, use nau-capitânia...
